Description
Ygg Proxy runs an embedded Yggdrasil node on your device and offers SOCKS5 and HTTP (CONNECT) proxies instead of a VPN tunnel — no TUN interface, no VPN slot, no root needed.
How it works: apps that support SOCKS5/HTTP proxies (browsers, download managers, messengers, other devices on your LAN) opt in themselves; everything else on the phone is completely untouched.
Features:
• SOCKS5 + HTTP CONNECT proxy, bound to 127.0.0.1 or all interfaces (gateway mode for other devices, e.g. old iPhones on iOS 7/9/12)
• .pk.ygg name resolution built-in, optional in-mesh DNS server
• Optional username/password authentication (recommended on public networks)
• Port forwarding both ways (expose local services to the mesh / map mesh services to local ports)
• LAN multicast peer discovery, manual peer lists
• Foreground service with persistent node identity (stable IPv6 address)
Yggdrasil core: v0.5.14 (LGPLv3 with linking exception); proxy/netstack derived from yggstack primitives (gVisor TCP/IP in userspace).
