Description
Stutter is a speed-reading app that uses RSVP (rapid serial visual presentation) to show one word at a time in a fixed spot. This reduces eye movement and keeps your pace steady.
Paste text, share text from another app, or send a public article URL to extract readable content. Reading speed and timing are fully adjustable, including delays for long words, punctuation, numbers, and short words so the rhythm feels natural and predictable.
Features:
- Language-aware tokenization and hyphenation for long words (18 supported languages).
- Appearance controls for fonts, size, spacing, and colors.
- Optional flankers to preview the next word fragment.
- No analytics, no tracking, no data collection, and no reading history.
What’s new (1.4.4)
- Update target API level to Android 16 (API level 36) for Google Play compliance.
