Description
openCook is an open-source, offline-first recipe app. Collect, plan and cook your recipes — without an account, ads or tracking.
Recipe management, meal planning and the shopping list work fully offline on your device. An optional self-hosted server (which you run yourself, on your own hardware) adds AI photo scanning and family sync over your home network — there is no cloud and no registration.
Features:
* Works fully offline — your recipes never leave your device
* No account, no ads, no tracking
* Turn cookbook photos into structured recipes (optional self-hosted AI)
* Weekly meal planner
* Shared shopping list
* Barcode scanning via Open Food Facts
* Import recipes from the web
* Family sync through your own home server (invite code, LAN/VPN only)
openCook is free software licensed under the GPLv3.
