Description

Open Telescope VR is a specialized VR-based accessibility camera application for people with low vision. The app lets one use their smartphone as a digital telescope, by mounting it into a standard VR viewer and connecting an external keyboard, remote or gamepad. This allows people with low-vision to attend lectures, conferences and meetings.

Key Features:-
1. Immersive VR Mode: The camera feed is shown in a stereoscopic side-by-side view. The application defaults to a "Hide Everything" UI state, with no on-screen buttons and menus, to provide a clean, viewfinder for VR headsets.
2. Telephoto Support: Supports switching to the telephoto lens (if present) on most newer Android devices.
3. Digital Zoom Boost: Increase maximum zoom-levels for each camera-lens.
4. External Hardware Control: Fully mapped to work with wired or wireless keyboards and gamepads, allowing you to control the zoom-levels and color-filters while it is strapped to your head.
5. Experimental: Unlocking Telephoto Access: Supports manually adding camera Lens ID to bypass OEM restrictions hiding these lenses (like telephoto and periscope cameras) from third-party apps.

Open TeleScope VR is based on Open Camera (v1.56.2) code base and is under GPLv3 license.
