Record and manage GPX tracks on an offline map, with no internet permission
Screenshots
Description
Record and manage rides, runs and hikes on an offline map, with no internet permission at all. Tracks are standard GPX files, and maps are optional Mapsforge files you import yourself.
Features
- Record tracks in the background with pausing, waypoints and live charts
- Recordings survive most crashes
- Speed and elevation charts by distance or time, with zoom
- Import and export .gpx tracks compatible with other apps
- Trim, search, sort and categorize tracks
- Show, hide, export or delete many tracks at once
- Maps are optional; without one, tracks draw on a blank background
- All maps share one canvas and don't need to be adjacent
Non-features
- Anything requiring internet access
- External device integration
- Map routing or searching
Android's cloud backup is disabled; only device-to-device transfers are allowed, which some backup apps such as Seedvault can also use. Recording needs system location on, so Android itself or other apps may still collect location data.
What’s new (0.3.0)
Share or open maps, several files and more GPX types, even while recording
Import several maps at once in Settings
Imports can be undone
Unsafe GPX and files over 512 MB are refused
Trim on the graphs, not a slider, step each end a point and see what's cut and kept
Saved waypoints can be edited or deleted
Shaded and labelled graph gaps
Zoomed graphs scroll by dragging to the edge, not with two fingers
Graph, list and notification times show hours
Fixed the map jumping after the track list
