Description
NCarousel downloads images from a folder on your Nextcloud server (via WebDAV) and sets them as your Android wallpaper.
Features:
- Connect to your own Nextcloud instance
- Pick a remote folder (e.g. Photos)
- Manual "next wallpaper" action (and Quick Settings tile, if enabled)
- Automatic wallpaper rotation with a minimum interval of 1 minute (WorkManager one-shot chaining)
- Optional on-device cache to reduce downloads
Privacy:
- No trackers
- Credentials are stored encrypted on-device (AndroidX Security)
- Network connections only go to the Nextcloud server you configure
What’s new (0.2.54)
- Add: Optional Wi‑Fi-only (unmetered) network for automatic wallpaper downloads.
- Change: Fit image mode fills letterbox edges with a soft blurred cover instead of black bars.
- Change: Library pull-to-refresh reloads the current wallpaper EXIF highlight (full list sync stays on Home / empty-state button).
- Fix: Quoted versionName literal for F-Droid Tags checkupdates (avoids versionName picking up the git tag “v…” prefix).
