Description
Logic Labs is a professional digital electronics laboratory in your pocket: a faithful, 100% offline digital twin of the industry-standard K&H IDL-800A Digital Lab Trainer with an interactive AD-200 breadboard, datasheet-exact 74xx TTL integrated circuits, and a real-time discrete-event simulation engine.
FOUR DEDICATED LAB WORKSPACES
1. AD-200 BREADBOARD WORKSTATION
• True-to-topology AD-200 breadboard with terminal tie-point blocks, continuous distribution power rails, and standard DIP centre trench
• Dynamic 2.5D wire routing with 8 insulation colours (red, green, blue, yellow, white, purple, cyan, orange), magnetic pin snapping, and haptic feedback
• Docked IDL-800A trainer console: 8 toggle switches (SW0–SW7), 8 buffered LED monitors (L0–L7) with phosphor afterglow, dual debounced pulsers, and detented clock generator (0.5 Hz to 100 kHz)
• Interactive signal probe, dual-channel oscilloscope (CH1, CH2, DUAL modes), and live boolean gate-level schematic synthesizer
2. STRUCTURED UNIVERSITY COURSEWORK
• 12 comprehensive laboratory units spanning introductory logic gates to advanced sequential machines
• Interactive schematics and dynamic truth tables for every core gate (NOT, AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR)
• Deep coverage: universal gate synthesis, half/full adders, arithmetic magnitude comparators, decoders, multiplexers, flip-flops, ripple counters, and digital-to-analog converters
• One-tap automated truth-table verification that sweeps the full 2^N input vector space to validate circuit correctness instantly
3. COMPLETE 74XX IC DATASHEET CATALOG
• Instant in-app reference for 14 standard 74xx TTL chips: 7400, 7402, 7404, 7408, 7410, 7411, 7420, 7432, 74266, 7483, 7486, 7474, 7476, and 7448
• Datasheet-exact DIP-14 dual-in-line package pinouts with colour-coded pin functions
• Internal gate architecture diagrams and complete Boolean logic mapping per pin
4. SAVED PROJECTS & BENCH METRICS
• Dedicated project manager with instant offline saving, autosave, and multi-circuit library
• Live bench tracking: monitored lab completion, circuit count, and total bench hours
• Plain JSON project export and import for sharing designs with classmates and instructors without proprietary lock-in
INSTRUMENT-GRADE THEMES & TACTILE SENSORY
• 9 authentic hardware instrument themes: Obsidian Stealth (AMOLED night bench), Amber CRT (vintage Tektronix phosphor), Solarized Dark, Vintage British Lab (deep forest enamel), HP Slate, Cleanroom, Cyberpunk Neon, Tokyo Night, and Titanium Frost
• Synthesized runtime relay clicks, switch snaps, and precision haptics calibrated for physical hardware realism — zero audio assets bundled
100% OFFLINE & PRIVACY-FIRST
• No internet permission (android.permission.INTERNET is completely absent)
• Zero ads, zero trackers, zero telemetry, and no account requirements
• Fully open source: simulation kernel derived from hneemann/Digital (GPL-3.0-or-later)
What’s new (1.1.2)
Logic Labs v1.1.2 update.
• Fixed first-launch & fallback lab selection so "Start EXP 01" opens EXP 01 (7404 Inverter / NOT Gate Logic) instead of EXP 02 (7400 NAND)
• Fixed Coursework tab schematic, subtitle, and button classification for 7483 4-bit adder, 7476 ripple counter, SR latch, and clocked SR flip-flop
• Coursework accordion cards now dynamically update schematics, glyphs, and launch labels when switching implementation variations
