Description
liftmath is the calculator you want between sets. It does a few things and does them properly.
One-rep max: enter any set you just did and it runs six published formulas and shows their median. Add the RPE or reps in reserve and it accounts for the reps you left in the tank. A percentage chart underneath gives you loads from 100% down to 50%, rounded to what your plates can actually make. Tap a row to load it.
Plates: type a target and it tells you what goes on each side and draws the bar. It works with a standard bar, a women's 15 kg bar, metric plates, or the exact plates you own at home. Turn on the warm-up ramp and it plans your warm-up sets on the way up.
Strength scores: Wilks, DOTS and IPF GL from your total and bodyweight, plus how your DOTS compares with every raw or equipped lifter in the OpenPowerlifting database.
Records: world records for powerlifting, strongman, grip and track and field, with your own lift shown as a percentage of the record.
Rest timer: pick 1:00 to 5:00 or your own time. It keeps the screen on while it runs and buzzes when you are done.
Everything works in lb or kg, and Share sends a link to the exact numbers on screen.
The app has no internet permission, so it never makes a network request. There are no ads and no account, and it does not track you. Your plate setup and settings stay on your phone.
liftmath is free software under the GPL-3.0-or-later. It also runs in any browser at munzzyy.github.io/liftmath and as a Python library and command-line tool.
