Description

JustQuran is a clean, modern, offline reader for the Holy Quran, presented in Arabic together with Urdu and English translations.

Texts and Scripts:
• Arabic: Digital Khatt IndoPak (QUL/CDT edition, paged folio layout)
• Urdu: Authentic translation by Fateh Muhammad Jalandhari
• English: The ClearQuran translation by Dr. Talal Itani
• Transliteration: English phonetic transliteration for every verse

• Folio / Paged Mushaf View: Centred IndoPak paged layout with waqaf symbols, surah headers, and bismillah markers
• Verse-by-verse Card View: Read Arabic, translation, and transliteration side by side with customisable visibility
• Audio Recitation & Narration: Listen to Arabic recitation by Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary alongside English (Brian & Sonia) and Urdu audio narrations verse-by-verse, or listen continuously like an audiobook in the background
• Translation Books: Dedicated book view for English and Urdu translations with active verse narration highlighting
• Full-Text Search: Fast offline search across Arabic, English, and Urdu texts
• Navigation: Surah index, Juz index with quick filtering, bookmarks, and Khatm al-Quran supplication
• Appearance: Light, dark, and warm sepia themes with independent font size controls for Arabic, Urdu, and English

Network Usage & Audio Streaming:
No internet connection is required for reading; all Quranic texts, translations, transliterations, and fonts are completely pre-bundled offline. The INTERNET permission is used solely for streaming or downloading audio from:
• everyayah.com (primary Arabic recitation)
• mirrors.quranicaudio.com (fallback Arabic recitation)
• pub-fafe102872f84521ab2a82e3dc2eeab0.r2.dev (English and Urdu translation narrations hosted on Cloudflare R2)

JustQuran is completely free and open source (MIT licence). It contains no advertisements, no subscriptions, no user tracking, and requires no account.

What’s new (2.2.71)

• Fixed Urdu narration verses where the voice garbled or looped (including 69:9), and evened out Urdu volume to match the English narration. Downloaded Urdu audio refreshes automatically.
