Tubester

Tubester lets you play the Hitster music board game using YouTube instead of a
Spotify subscription. Point it at the QR code on a card and it opens the matching
song in an external player of your choice, such as NewPipe or the YouTube app.

A Hitster QR code contains only the card's identity, not the song. Tubester reads
the language and card number, looks the card up in the community
"songseeker-hitster-playlists" dataset to find the exact track, and hands the
YouTube link to your external player.

To keep the round fair, Tubester shows a "turn the phone upside down" hint and a
short countdown before playback starts, because the external player displays the
video title. The answer (year, title and artist) stays hidden behind a Reveal
button. For a fully spoiler-free experience, set NewPipe to open links in the
background so no title is ever shown.
