Battleship

Battleship is a local naval combat game for Android. It requires no network connection, no account and no tracking. Play against an AI opponent that uses a hunt/target algorithm with checkerboard parity.

The game is played on a 10x10 grid with a 5-ship fleet: Carrier, Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine and Destroyer. Ships are placed by tapping a cell; a separate button switches the ship between horizontal and vertical, and one tap deploys the whole fleet at random. Sinking an enemy ship unlocks a matching super weapon, such as area bombardment, cross-pattern saturation fire or a sonar sweep.

The app tracks career stats across games and app restarts, including 33 medals across four rarity tiers and 8 career ranks from Cadet to Fleet Admiral. All game audio is synthesized at runtime, so no audio files are bundled with the app.
